The Blog Owner/Editor is Eddie Wren, originally from the Lake District National Park in Cumbria in the North of England, but since 2002 he has been a resident in Western New York [WNY] and then the NY Capital District.
Eddie has been a photographer since the mid 1970s, including 17 years as a professional commercial photographer in Britain.
He is a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, and following his photography on a six-month expedition across Africa in the 1980s, he was also elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. His active interest in wildlife and conservation spans more than half a century.
He has also written and photographed for several UK magazines, including a monthly wildlife column for Cumbria Life.
